Phil has been involved in all aspects of forestland analysis and valuation for the past fifteen+ years.  With a thorough understanding of forest modeling, management and valuation techniques, he has valued forestland properties throughout the U.S. South, Appalachia, Lake States and South America.  In developing past hardwood stumpage price indices, he has extensive knowledge of timber pricing in various regions of the country.

Phil holds the MAI designation from The Appraisal Institute, the acknowledged worldwide leader in real estate education, research, publishing and professional membership designation programs.  He is a licensed certified general real estate appraiser in twelve states.

Jason Lashbrook 

Jason has over a decade of experience in forest management, modeling and GIS working for TIMOs and forest consultants. His outstanding knowledge of forest modelling and GIS has made him an indispensable part of the team as he works in the U.S. South, Appalachia and South America.  He is a licensed certified general real estate appraiser in three states.

Adam Watson

Adam's experience with TerraSource includes appraisal projects in the U.S. South, Appalachia, Eastern Europe and Central and South America, ranging from pine plantations to natural forests and hardwood plantations. Detailed analytical skills and situational awareness instilled from his training in Forest Economics and military tours in the Middle East have helped him succeed in a wide array of project types and geographies.  He is a licensed certified general real estate appraiser in North Carolina.

For over a decade, Phil has been involved in forestland and commercial real estate valuation. His experience includes appraisals of pine and hardwood timberland, conservation easements, rights-of-way, historic properties, transitional lands, waterfront tracts, residential subdivisions, office and industrial facilities, contaminated sites, mining lands, urban and rural lands.  Phil has previously had over 20 years of experience in forest management, wood procurement, and technical services with two major corporations in the forest industry.

Phil is a Candidate for Designation from the Appraisal Institute, the acknowledged worldwide leader in real estate education, research, publishing and professional membership designation programs. He is a licensed certified general real estate appraiser in five states, a Certified Forester, and a licensed registered forester in three states.
